This web site, "Heard The Word" will host free, downloadable MP3's of the New Covenant Scripture and the Psalms. Eventually, I hope to add in the Old Testament for you as well. Intially downloads will be in English, but I shall add in French and German. I am currently in negotiation regarding copyrights. I am aslo open to other suggestions for making recordings for you.
I am pleased to announce that Mr. Jim Wheeler has kindly consented to the use of his extensive research and production of the 2001 Translation of the Holy Bible. This was a collaborative effort and we are fortunate to have so many people that are dedicated to making the Wisdom of the Septuagint available for free. Long live open source!
You will be free to download these MP3s to your computer, MP3 player or any other device that you want to carry your files on. You will be at liberty to use the files as you please, however, they are not to be used for commercial purposes nor to be loaded on anyone else's web site without express written permission from me (and possibliy others).
The expected launch date will be early 2011. Stay tuned!!
